As we previously said, this site is a fanlisting. But what is a fanlisting? It is, just like its name says, a list of fans of a particular subject. In this case, it's a fanlisting for a song we just love to death; Killing loneliness. What can we say about it?, let's see... it's the 4th track on HIM's last album, Dark Light, released in 2005. This beautiful song could be taken in too totally different ways. The first one is that it talks about a relationship and he sings to her in gratitude for saving him and making him forget about a horrible past or a relationship he had before being with her. The second one talks about a sad guy who meets a girl and he uses her to get over depression and forget someone else.
Regarding the name of the site, it’s very simple. We took it from the first line of the chorus: “With the venomous kiss you gave me, I’m killing loneliness (killing loneliness)…” and... end of the trouble. Yeah, we don't complicate for things like those. If you want to read the lyrics or download the mp3 of the song, just check the extras page.
Speaking of the layout, it was made in Paint Shop Pro with a few screencaps of the Killing Loneliness video that we got from here, some textures and gothic swirls brushes. It has no lyrics but it does have a overmouse-change-image script on the menu. The fonts used here are Georgia and Scriptina, both can be downloaded here. The HTML was made using Notepad and FrontPage.
